Moments that Matter – A Unique Approach to Memory Support
Alzheimer’s and dementia have the ability to impact your loved one’s mental ability to manage and enjoy everyday life. Our Moments Memory Care Program at Forest Valley Terrace uncovers the unique needs of each of our Orléans memory care residents. We meet them in the “moment” they are in, and work to make their environment more relaxing as a greater sense of purpose is discovered. With additional interactive memory support programs like “It’s Never 2 Late” and “Music in Memory”, we strive to help your loved find more joy in each moment.
Symphony Sorority Neighborhood
New to our community in November of 2019, our Symphony Sorority exclusively focuses on caring for women with all stages of Alzheimer’s, dementia or other forms of memory impairment. Our Sorority Sisters enjoy a calmer and home like environment, which helps improve morale and increase comfort, so that our ladies feel at ease.
Respite care at Forest Valley Terrace offers short-term relief for caregivers or can even be a way for seniors to try out life at our community. Caregivers receive peace of mind while seniors can expect the same level of care given to assisted living and memory care residents. We even offer hotel-like guest suite for friends and family who are visiting their loved one in respite care from out of town. No matter the length of stay, our team is dedicated to serving the individual needs of every respite care guest. Get a closer look at our respite care services today.

What makes Forest Valley Terrace exceptional is the people who work there. Providing good quality care is challenging work. It requires individuals who truly want to help others, who understand dementia and who are patient, compassionate, and well-trained. The passion of team members is evident in every aspect of the care that is provided. I have witnessed many acts of kindness by staff who went out of their way to make a resident more comfortable.- Winifred
